Hospital Beds for Glendale, Arizona

Some people stop sleeping in their own bed long before anyone notices. They doze off in the recliner because lying flat hurts, or because getting up from the mattress has become a struggle they would rather avoid.

Electropedic brings them back to the bedroom with hi-low beds that rise, lower and bend at a touch, and handmade Latexpedic latex mattresses that move with them. For Glendale families, our Phoenix showroom is a short drive down the road.

Glendale, Arizona, in the West Valley. Electropedic Phoenix delivers and sets up beds here.

Six Hi-Low Beds, Six Ways Back to Restful Sleep

Every bed below begins with a moment many Glendale households know well, follows it to where it leads, and shows how the right bed changes it.

Tuffcare Century

Long Term Care Bed T7036 and T7042

For the person who has been sleeping in the recliner for months

Sound familiar?

The recliner became the bed because it is the only place that holds the right angle and has arms to push up from. The bedroom sits unused down the hall.

Why it matters

Night after night upright in a chair brings swollen ankles, stiff hips and broken sleep, and a chair cannot lower to help a caregiver or lift to protect their back.

How Tuffcare helps

The five-function pendant recreates that lawn-chair angle in a real bed, then reaches Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg as needed. The wider T7042 gives larger sleepers room to turn. Quiet synchronized DC motors keep the frame level, eight locking casters hold it still, and an external battery supplies up to seven minutes of power in an outage.

Supernal 3 Hi-Low

For living alone and intending to keep it that way

Sound familiar?

You manage the house, the errands and the garden on your own. The only time you wish someone were there is the moment you lever yourself off a mattress that sits a little too low.

Why it matters

A shaky start to the morning with no one around is how a fall turns into a long wait on the floor, and how well-meaning family begins talking about other living arrangements.

How Supernal 3 helps

Lower the bed for a steady sit, then raise it so you stand from the height your knees prefer. An optional support rail travels with the bed, giving you a hand that is always there. Head and foot adjustment, a wall-hugging frame and hidden motors keep everything simple and keep the room looking like yours.

For comfort care in a familiar room

Sound familiar?

Your family has chosen to care for a loved one at home, surrounded by photographs, the dog and the view from their own window. Then the equipment list arrives.

Why it matters

A standard clinical bed can make a cherished bedroom feel like a hospital room at the very time familiarity and dignity matter most to everyone in the house.

How Supernal 5 helps

It delivers the positions a care team may ask for, including Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg, together with hi-low height, head and foot articulation and zero-gravity comfort, all inside an upholstered frame that looks like fine bedroom furniture. Dual King lets a spouse stay close.

For backs that take ten minutes to get going each morning

Sound familiar?

Arthritis or an old back injury means every morning starts with a slow roll to the edge, a push up on one elbow and a careful swing of the legs.

Why it matters

That twist at the hips is exactly what a stiff spine dislikes, so the day begins in pain, and the dread of it can keep you awake the night before.

How Flexabed helps

Raise the head section until you are sitting up with no twist, then press one button and the whole bed rises vertically to an easy standing height. Each side of a split model moves on its own. Hand-built to your specifications in Georgia, with optional rail covers, motion-sensing underbed lights, voice control and an app.

The Dawn House Bed

For the parent who always says “I’m fine”

Sound familiar?

Dad lives ten minutes away and answers every question the same way. You see him on Sundays, but you have no idea how his nights really go.

Why it matters

Restless nights and changing sleep patterns can build for weeks before anyone notices, and by then a small issue may have become a bigger one.

How Dawn House helps

Sensors inside the base passively record heart rate, breathing, movement and sleep stages, with no watch to remember, and share easy reports through an app the family can view with permission. Hi-low height, voice control, Rise to Wake, an automatic anti-snore lift and motion-activated underbed lighting make every night easier for him.

Ascend High-Low Adjustable Bed with Tilt

For stuffy nights when lying flat makes breathing harder

Sound familiar?

When dust or pollen season settles over the Valley, congestion sets in the moment your head hits the pillow, and the extra pillows you pile up end up on the floor by morning.

Why it matters

Hours of mouth breathing and repositioning leave you groggy all day, and a bent-up head section never suits someone who sleeps on their side or stomach.

How Ascend helps

The Ascend tilts the entire sleep surface up to seven degrees, a smooth, even slope that keeps your head above your heart in any sleeping position. About seven inches of hi-low lift, head and foot articulation, a zero-gravity preset, three programmable presets, underbed lighting and double-click to flat complete it.

Latexpedic: The Mattress We Make Ourselves

Most hospital-bed mattresses are an afterthought. Ours started with one man's search for a better night's sleep.

Henry Kraus, founder of Electropedic and creator of Latexpedic latex mattresses
Henry Kraus, who founded Electropedic in 1964.

Tired of replacing mattresses that wear out?

Ordinary mattresses sag in the middle within a few years, and on a bed that bends every day they break down even faster. The usual answer is to buy another one, and another, while sleep quietly gets worse in between.

In 1987, Electropedic founder Henry Kraus slept on a latex mattress in a small Swiss hotel and woke without his usual back pain. Unable to find one like it at home, he set out to build it, and Latexpedic was born. His sons and grandsons still handcraft every one: all natural latex from top to bottom, wrapped in cotton and wool, built to bend with an adjustable bed for decades.

Serving Glendale and the West Valley

Glendale is one of the closest communities to our Phoenix showroom. Here is what that means for you, and the questions West Valley families ask us most.

Close enough to try before you buy

From Historic Downtown Glendale or Catlin Court, our showroom is roughly a 20 to 30 minute drive. That makes it easy to bring the person who will sleep in the bed, let them sit on the edge of each model, and lie on all four Latexpedic firmnesses before deciding.

After a stay at a West Valley hospital

Many of our Glendale calls follow a stay at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center or Abrazo Arrowhead Campus, when a discharge planner suggests a hospital bed. Call us as soon as there is a date. We will confirm the size and room layout, then schedule delivery and set-up so the bed is ready before your family member gets home.

From Arrowhead Ranch to the older neighborhoods

Glendale's homes range from mid-century houses near downtown, with narrower hallways and smaller bedrooms, to larger homes around Arrowhead Ranch. Tell us your doorway and room measurements and we will recommend a bed and size that fits comfortably.

Glendale questions

How close is your showroom to Glendale?

About 12 miles from downtown Glendale, usually 20 to 30 minutes by car depending on traffic. The map at the bottom of this page shows today's route.

Do you deliver and set up in Glendale?

Yes. Electropedic Phoenix delivers and sets up hi-low beds and Latexpedic mattresses in Glendale. Call 800-733-1818 to schedule.

Can a hi-low bed replace sleeping in a recliner?

For many people it can. A hi-low bed raises the head and knees into a supported, chair-like angle, then lowers to a safe height for getting up. Ask your doctor which positions suit your condition.

Do you rent hospital beds?

Rentals are available on selected hospital beds. Call the Phoenix showroom for current availability and terms.

Can I change my mattress's firmness later?

Yes. The zippered cover on every Latexpedic mattress allows the latex inside to be changed. Ask the showroom about current exchange terms.
